The Sd.Kfz.304 Springer was a remote-controlled demolition vehicle developed by Nazi Germany towards the end of World War II. Unlike its predecessors, the Goliath tracked mines, the Springer was larger and designed to carry a significantly larger explosive payload. It was intended to be driven close to enemy fortifications or obstacles before being remotely detonated. Although it saw limited use due to the late stage of the war and the logistical challenges of its deployment, the Springer represented an advanced concept in battlefield demolition technology.
