The Sd.Kfz.302, commonly known as the Goliath tracked mine, was a remote-controlled demolition vehicle developed by Nazi Germany. Designed to carry up to 60 kilograms of high explosives, the Goliath was intended to destroy tanks, disrupt infantry formations, and demolish fortifications. Operated via a joystick control box connected by a spool of wire, the Goliath allowed soldiers to deploy explosives from a safe distance. Although its effectiveness was limited by its vulnerability to small arms fire and the relatively slow speed, the Goliath represented a significant step forward in the use of remote-controlled vehicles in warfare.
