The Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. N, commonly known as the Panzer III N, was introduced in 1942 as a support tank variant of the Panzer III series. Unlike its predecessors, the Panzer III N was equipped with a short-barreled 75mm KwK 37 L/24 gun, originally used on early Panzer IV models. This armament allowed the Panzer III N to provide effective fire support against infantry and fortified positions. It featured additional spaced armor for increased protection.
