Introducing the North Africa British PIAT Team models designed by 3D Breed, a meticulously crafted set of 15mm scale miniatures that capture the bravery and ingenuity of British anti-tank teams during the North African Campaign of World War II. These figures commemorate the vital role played by the PIAT (Projector, Infantry, Anti-Tank) teams in combating enemy armor and supporting infantry operations in the harsh desert environment.

The North African Campaign (1940-1943) was a critical series of battles in which Allied forces faced off against the Axis powers in the deserts of North Africa. Among the various units deployed, the PIAT teams were essential in providing infantry with a means to counter the formidable German and Italian tanks. Introduced in 1942, the PIAT was a portable, man-portable anti-tank weapon that used a powerful spring mechanism to launch a bomb, capable of penetrating significant armor. This innovation was crucial in evening the odds against heavily armored opponents.
