The M48 Chaparral is an American self-propelled surface-to-air missile system designed to protect ground forces against low-flying aircraft. Our 3D printed model of the M48 Chaparral is available in 15mm scale and captures the details of this iconic military vehicle. The system was introduced in the 1960s during the Cold War and was widely used by the US Army and other NATO forces. The M48 Chaparral was designed to replace the aging MIM-23 Hawk missile system and was equipped with four MIM-72A/M48A1 missiles that had a range of up to 5.6 km. The M48 Chaparral played a significant role in several conflicts, including the Vietnam War and the Gulf War.
