The Hotchkiss H39 model, meticulously designed by Bergman, is a finely detailed 15mm scale miniature that represents the pinnacle of the Hotchkiss series of French light tanks used during World War II.
The Hotchkiss H39 was an advanced development of the earlier H35 and H38 models, incorporating improvements to armor, firepower, and mobility. Introduced in 1939, the H39 featured a more powerful 120 horsepower engine and a longer-barreled 37mm SA 38 gun, enhancing its performance in both infantry support and anti-tank roles. The H39 saw extensive action during the Battle of France in 1940 and was also used by German forces after the fall of France.
