The Bersaglieri utilized a combination of the Breda Modello 30 light machine gun and standard-issue Carcano rifles to maintain battlefield flexibility. The Breda 30, while prone to jamming and a slow rate of fire, was still widely used for infantry support, laying down suppressive fire while riflemen advanced or defended positions. Bersaglieri units, known for their speed and aggression, relied on these weapons in fast-moving combat, from North Africa to the Eastern Front. Though their equipment had limitations, their discipline and tactics made them a formidable force on the battlefield.
